Blogging before breakfast :)

So, I've continued on my shopping binge which means that I'll have lots of personal deals to post for a while. Despite this, I'm going to start out with my deal of the day which comes from Amazon.com. This pair of over the knee boots are made by Michael Antonio. I'd never heard of him before I picked up a gorgeous pair of his shoes at Divine Consign (consignment shop in Lakeville). Since they were sort of my inspiration, I figured I'd post a picture of them too. It's another lazy bed pic but I'm sure no one minds. lol
They are cow hair texture with a silver heel and it was love at first sight! I still remember (I bought them back in October) the lady in the store calling me Cinderella because so many people had tried them on and hadn't been able to get their feet into the narrow front. hehe Anyway, back to todays deal of the day and enough about my lovely zebra striped shoes. I found today's deal of the day through the site: http://www.discountdanskoshoes.pumpforsale.com/ which I somehow stumbled upon while searching for shoes. I have to stop finding these sites.....lol When you get to the shoes on Amazon, they're priced from $16.12-$69.99. The grey colored boots are the ones that are marked down to $16.12 and surprisingly enough, they're also available in the most sizes. They have a 4 3/4" heel with a 1" hidden platform are 23" of faux suede from the sole. The only draw back that I can see is that they are pull on which can be a bit of a pain without a zipper. Here's a pic and the link to the Amazon listing: http://www.amazon.com/Michael-Antonio-Womens-Mckay-Boot/dp/B002CYU8WW%3FSubscriptionId%3DAKIAIDOFJC33SN3263EA%26tag%3Dtechntoday-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB002CYU8WW

I found some great deals at the mall again this Thursday including what I thought was a cute idea for a sale at Charlotte Russe. They had signs up in the store to text them for a coupon. I texted the # and within a minute, I had a coupon back for buy one, get one 70% off! I had had my eye on a really cute scarf already which was the last one there but I wasn't willing to spend $9.50 on it. This changed my mind a bit. I went back to the clearance rack and grabbed the sweater that I'd been looking at for $9.99 that I was also iffy about the price on (yes I'm that cheap sometimes). So, for $12 and change, I got both, that I could handle. Here are pics of the sweater (that I wore last night) and the scarf (that I've worn twice already). :)

I also found some good accessory deals at Deb. They were having a buy one, get one for a dollar deal on their clearance accessories. I found two necklaces, a ring, and a set of bangles all in silver and black. I've already worn the ring twice and a few of the bangles since I won't wear them all at once, it's just too much. Here's a picture of me wearing the adorable ring at work yesterday. :)

Speaking of yesterday, I had the perfect footwear for yesterday and the day before that came in the mail from Macy's. My Guess red leopard print boots arrived just in time!! I love them. They fit perfect and the rubber isn't stiff which is what I've found with some of the rain boots I've seen in the stores. Also, they do have a little bit of a heel so I don't feel super short in them. ;)

Now for my wishlist item. This one is outrageously expensive because it's Alexander McQueen. I will say, I know he's dead, so someone else is obviously designing his collection now, but I love his stuff. He was a great designer. His shoes and bags are amazing and all waaaaaay out of my price range but still fun to look at. I found this one on Zappos.com for a whopping $2,145. haha I just love the whole idea of the clutch or "knuckle duster" as they call it. It's made of leather and is topped with four gold-tone (which for that price should be gold if you ask me) rings. The rings are what really push it over the top and allow the clutch to almost double as a pair of "gold tone" knuckles. haha This one is in a tortoise shell color which is my favorite for sunglasses because it matches everything. Here is the pic and the link: http://www.zappos.com/alexander-mcqueen-253118j33rg-knuckle-duster-tortoise-shell?channel=4&mr:referralID=8f138f6b-3d00-11e0-a86a-001b2166c2c0

Well, thanks for checking out my blog and stay tuned!!

It's been a while!

Okay, so it's been over a week since I've posted and that is some serious slacking so I'm going to have to make up for it with today's post. I'll start with my favorite part, the deal of the day. :)

So, shoe searching online for a deal I went to the usual suspects and then went to a few department store sites that I like, like Macy's. Macy's tends to have a decent clearance section online and they're always sending me emails about deals with free shipping or an additional whatever percent off. lol Well, I was scrolling down a long list of clearance shoes (I tend to click the view all to avoid having to go through a million pages) and I saw them. Yes, "them", the rain boots that I've been waiting for. I have a lot of shoes that don't fair well in the rain so I've been trying to find a pair of rain boots that meet my standards of cuteness and such for a while. Well, I found them. They are def out of my normal price comfort zone, especially after paying less than this for 5 pairs of shoes last weekend..., but they're Guess and they're gorgeous! See for yourself in the pic and check out the link if you like them and you have little fee because they only have 6s and 7s left. The link is http://www.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=496862&cm_mmc=Google_Feed-_-2-_-22-_-MP222 and I'll let you know more about them in 3-6 business days. ;)

As usual, I found a really cute bag on Macy's website. It is made by Style and Co. which is a brand that my aunt swears by. If she likes it, it must be good. hehe Anyway, it's a mini bag with a long chain for a shoulder strap and two shorter chains for handles. The bag is in one of my favorite metallics- pewter...and it has multiple animal prints on it in black. Basically, it's just awesome. Here's the pic and the link: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=502215&CategoryID=28274&LinkType=#fn=sp%3D1%26spc%3D156

Now, for some of my personal bargains in the past week or so: I went to the Galleria mall and popped into Forever 21 since I hadn't really been in there in a while and I wanted to see if they still had this navy and gold striped sweater that I liked. No such luck on the sweater, but I did find the shimmery black dress from my previous post, the one with the pockets and the belt. I got that for $9.99, and these shoes for $10.99:
I will admit that the heel on these is a little high at 5" with not much of a platform in the front but they are adorable with the bow and peep toe. Also, they have a subtle glitter shimmer to them that is the same as a pair of flats that I got from Forver 21 a while ago and I wear them all the time. They go with everything but they also have a little flare to them.
Right next door to Forever 21 is Wet Seal. They always seem to have their buy one get one for a penny clearance sale going. (not that I'm complaining, just hard to pass up) Well, I found a pair of great silver leopard print heels with a peep toe and side cut outs. The heel is about 4" with a small platform in the front and they run a little big because a 6 1/2 fit me. Since the shoes were $14.99, I paid $15 for them and a sweater. The sweater is an asymmetrical navy blue (one)long sleeve with a ruffle on the shoulder. It fit like a dream so for a penny, I couldn't pass it up, as previously stated. haha I took a pic of the shoes but I haven't worn them yet. I really should have gotten a pic of the sweater on. Don't mind the lame pic, I'm being lazy and took the pic on my bed.

I'm sure my next post will include more personal pics since I've been on quite the shoe binge again, but I'm just uploading one more today that are from my own collection, and another stock pic to avoid a lazy one. For my birthday, I got two new pairs of shoes and one of them was a pair that I'd been looking at at Charlotte Russe since before Christmas. I just wasn't willing to spend the money on them. They're a faux suede bootie with ruffles up the front. The best part is definitely the color though. They're a great shade of teal that I have several shirts that go perfectly with them. :) They have a 4 1/2" but they have a 2" platform in the front so they're super easy to walk in. The website only has them in the nude color, and they're down to one size but I've seen them in stores if you want a pair for yourself. I def recommend them! Here's the link:

Okay, so I've started a sort of wishlist. Some of the things on it are things that I don't plan on ever actually purchasing, just dreaming about. Some of the things are just a little out of my comfort zone some I'm going to do a lot of dreaming before any purchasing. :) One of the things on my wishlist is a Juicy Couture charm bracelet. They actually have several different varieties of it that I like, but this one is my favorite:

Alright, so I've saved the best for last. I was at Just Looking on Friday, which is a consignment shop. They are in Raynham across from Bob's and Taco Bell ( I recommend everyone to check them out) and they always carry a few really high end bags. I tend not to bother looking because Coach, Louis Vitton, and Dooney aren't really my style for the most part. Well, on Friday, they had a Juicy Couture bag. That's my style and I love Juicy! The bag must have been unused because it was in pristine condition without a mark on it inside or out. I knew I had to have it. Despite it's slightly over $50 price tag, I splurged because I knew I would never find that kind of deal again.Sure enough, I was able to find the exact bag online and the retail price on it was $185.00 and they're selling it for $113.00. Even on Ebay, it's tough to find a Juicy bag for under $100, especially in brand new condition. It's 3am, I must be lonely..

I surfed the website of another one of my favorite stores at the mall and found two great deals...well more than two...but two that I'm going to share. I would def recommend checking out Forever21.com. The first great deal is on a pair of shoes, of course. :) They are hot pink (or black) suedette high heeled, open toes shoes with an ankle strap. The cutest part is the rosette on the front of the ankle strap. The heel is 5" on them but they do have a 1" platform in the front, again marginally less discomfort. They are definitely in my preferred price range at $10.99. The link for them is: http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog_name=FOREVER21&category_name=sale&product_id=2083891806&Page=1 .

The second item that I found on their site was a really cute shimmery black jersey dress. It has 3/4 sleeves, pockets (which I love), and comes with a belt. At $9.99, that's a steal. Most of the time it cost more than that just for the belt. lol Here's the link for the dress: http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog_name=FOREVER21&category_name=sale&product_id=2079960273&Page=1

I've saved the Valentine's Day item for last again. I've picked out something a little different for today's item from Etsy.com. If you've never checked out the site, you should. The sell almost anything you can think of that someone could handmake and they also sell vintage items. The site gives you some cool ways to shop too, like by scrolling over a rainbow to choose a color to pull up items in. Anyway, this one is more of an anti-Valentine's Day item. The bracelet sells for $28.00 and the link  is: http://www.etsy.com/listing/65322033/love-bites-snark-charm-bracelet-anti?ref=sr_gallery_9&ga_search_query=heart&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=3

Well, that concludes my blogtime for tonight/this morning since it's now 3:30am and I have to wake up for breakfast in the morning. Goodnight everyone and let me know what you think!

Late..

For today's deal of today, I'm posting another item from 15dollarstore.com. This is from a brand that I recognized from back in my Filene's days. I found this jacket, which I still think looks more mustard than gold, under the jacket's section of the site(they have a separate section for outerwear) and couldn't resist the ruffle. I think I'm going to end up ordering this one for myself, especially after finding this image, which is much better than the one on 15dollarstore.com. Here's the link: http://15dollarstore.com/p/xoxo-ruffle-moto-jacket-w-quilted-shoulders/3200232530277300

In my online travels, I also discovered a new site that helps you find sales:
http://www.followsales.com/ which allows you  to narrow your search by price range, brand names, stores...etc. That lead me to find:
http://www.boscovs.com/store/homepage.html which a huge dept. store that I'd never heard of, that obviously has some great deals on clothes and shoes and also reminded me of a website that I was on the other day: http://www.6pm.com/ which is basically a site for name brand clothes and shoes at outlet prices.

On 6pm.com, I was able to find a pretty good deal on a pair of really awesome Chinese Laundry shoes at $28.75. I love Chinese Laundry. I only own one pair myself because I was able to find them on clearance at DSW years ago, but I've admired many a pair online. Anyway, this pair is called Ashanti and it's "blue" snake skin, which is really not blue. There is some blue, pink, white, and black in the pattern and the heel is all pink, which I love! It has a 4 1/4" heel with a 1" platform so your foot is at a slightly less uncomfortable angle. lol Oh, and did I mention they're awesome?? See for yourself and here's a link: http://www.6pm.com/chinese-laundry-ashanti-blue

Last, but not least, my Valentine's Day inspired item/items of the day. Today I picked a matching set from one of my favorite stores...Victoria's Secret. The bra is from the Pink collection so it's $44.50 vs some of the more pricey collections and the undies are 5 for $25.50. It may not be a steal but I buy Victoria's Secret because their bras really do last, they don't fall apart like a lot of cheaper brands do. So, here's the link if you want more details or are a sucker for the 5 for $25.50 undies like I am:

Well, I think that's it for the night. I'm not feeling so good so I'm glad I had most of this typed already and I'm going to try to get some sleep. Tell me what you think!

Bargain Overload.....Local and Long Distance

Ok, so I didn't post last night because I fell asleep but I'm going to more than make up for it tonight.
Let's start off with my online deal of the day:
These beauties are available for $15 at 15dollarstore.com. They were selling for $89.99 retail! I know that sounds crazy but if you search for them, they are still selling for $50-$85 on other sites. This shoe comes already accessorized with a bow, jeweled flower broach, small gold chains, and all over black lace. Although, with it's 5 1/2 heel, this shoe is not for the faint at heart. lol I would recommend checking out other sections on this site too. Like the name implies, everything on the site is $15. Here is a link to this pair of shoes: http://15dollarstore.com/p/two-lips-whisper-lace-open-toe-pump-

To keep with the Valentines Day theme, I have another "heart" item. I have been watching for this dress to go on sale at Charlotte Russe since they put it out in the store (not that I would know their stock enough to notice a new item...) and they've finally marked it down. Granted, it's still a little more than I'd like to pay for a dress, because I'm really cheap, but it's down from $29.99 to $20. If anyone else finds it as adorable as I do, here's the link:

On a local level, I saw some great deals at the Kingston mall tonight. (and didn't pounce on all of them) Both PacSun and American Eagle are offering an additional 1/2 clearance items. Also, Aeropostal has marked most of their clearance tops(more than a whole circular rack's worth) down to $3.99 and bottoms down to $5.99.
Well, I think that's all for today. Please feel free to leave some feedback. Thanks!

Day One....and then there was blog

Okay, so I've never set up a blog before and it's going to take a while to get this to what I want it to be but basically I'm creating this to replace my frequent FB posts with shoes and such. I plan on featuring at least one pair of shoes and possibly another item each day and also posting a more detailed account of my own collection. I figure this will save the FB folks that don't want to read about the shoes from further torture...since this will be much more detailed...not just a link and a sentence, and maybe I'll be able to vent my shoe energy in a constructive way to avoid an intervention. lol So, here goes:

I thought I'd dedicate my first post to the upcoming- Valentines Day. These shoes are actually on sale right now on Amazon for $29.99! I love the heart shaped heel and I've seen a lot of different variations of it, none of which I'd shy away from attempting to walk in. Since I'm taking a break from buying shoes....someone please buy them! :)
